Bananagrams (RRP £14.99) is an addictive word game that's sweeping the world!
You get a banana shaped bag stuffed with letter tiles, you don't need anything else.
Players choose a number of letters from the face-down "bunch" and proceed to make as many connecting and intersecting words as they can from their letters. Each player works independently.
Once a player has successfully used all their letters, they shout "bananas" and their grid is then checked for correct spelling and allowable words by the other players (great for encouraging spelling and dictionary use). If all the words are correct the player wins, if not play continues without that player, who must return all their letters to the bunch.
You can also play the game by yourself and there's even a book version for car journeys.
I've really enjoyed getting to grips with this game.
Bananagrams is a fantastic, compelling and addictive game and great for giving your brain a good work out!
Disclosure: I received a Bananagrams game to review from LS Media Ltd.
