One thing I love about getting back into writing and blogging is that reading during the work day moves from being a guilty pleasure to being something that moves my work forward.
Some of this reading is research for works in progress, but some is purely for inspiration; still more is to check out what magazines have already covered so that I don't pitch ideas they've recently used.
Obviously reading isn't billable time but it's still an importent element of my job, so I use the time wisely and get as much read as I can in the time I have.
