It's the final chemo

Today (Thursday 10th January), is my last dose of chemotherapy and I have to admit it feels odd. It's the end of the second of four interventions to get rid of and prevent the return of my breast cancer; it's the halfway stage!

But as I'll still have my Borg-like PICC line in, will still have to go to hospital every week to have it cared for, will still have herceptin on a three week cycle until mid-May and have four weeks of radiotherapy to look forward to. So nothing will really change; but it is the halfway stage!

I shall buy cake to celebrate (as my wonderful friend Sharon suggested), and after having a couple of day's rest will get back to normal life :-)
